Presentation for kdictionary

One of the things in my to-do list while I am in China is to promote my website:kdictionary.com. Even it is a not for profit website. I still need to convince people that the website is an useful tool for them to learn English.I don't have advertising budget, so I am going to do a knock-door promotion. I have someone designed and printed a box of business card for the website.

Last Saturday night, a friend of mine invited me to his English corner. He is an American living in China for almost 18 years. Every year I come back to China, he always invites me to his English Corner to share my learning experience. I am going to use this opportunity to promote my website. It was a cold night. There were not many people turned up. I would give the presentation anyway regardless how many people there. I spent most of the time on demonstrating my website. Since I had access to wireless broadband,I gave them a live demonstration. I showed them all the tools I developed last year. Also I introduced the services provided by the website. In the second part of my presentation,I focused on sharing my learning experience. I am not good at pubic speaking, but I was quite happy with my delivery.I feel more comfortable when I am talking about something I know and I am passionate about.

At the end of my presentation, I handed out my business card to the participants. I talked to the participants after my presentation. According to the feedback, my presentation was quite well received.
